Hi Folks,

Well, they eventually sunk one wreck, just a few minutes from the dive centre, in 27m. It's a boat dive, not much value for tekkie stuff, but has potential for initial Adv Wreck course dive for line work, lost mask drills etc, before venturing on to Zenobia.

There's a Wrecks-to-Reefs project running, with EU/Gov't funds available for planned sinking of 3 decent-sized wrecks, so we'll keep you posted. We've got a Facebook Group: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=94438677983 where we'll be posting regular news and events, so feel free to join, for the latest Cyprus dive scene updates in our neck of the woods.

We've now organised (it's only taken 4 years....) a local boat, and so we can get out to new sites, and we're be doing some exploration over the next few weeks. It's a hardboat, will take 6 divers, has a spine ladder, and we've got easy loading at a choice of 2 or 3 local harbours. There's also a RIB available, too, so we've got options on availability - keep you posted on Facebook.

As may know, Peter Crane is now a Meg Mod 1 instructor (Rob, Leon still has final say, especially regarding territorial issues ), and we're running Meg Try-Dives and courses until December.

Mark Powell should be due out in October, so hope to see some of you then.
